Hi, I’m Jordyn. I’ve worked in Early Childhood Education for seven years. As an educator, I believe that we play an incredibly important role in developing children’s passions for discovery and learning . Outside of Settlement Road I enjoy spending time baking and playing with my two dogs. I have a passion for providing children with opportunities to engage in play which is interesting, aesthetically pleasing, inclusive and child directed. I’m extremely enthusiastic about providing children with a variety of opportunities and hope that all our families feel welcomed, included and engaged in our setting.

BACHELOR OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

My name is Niki Fernando.  I am the Kindergarten Teacher at Settlement Road Early Learning & Kinder.  I have studied my Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood and Primary Teaching.  I love working with children and helping them grow into confident learners. I am a mother of three boys and recently a little girl. Now a mother of 4 alongside my loving husband we are busy balancing our lives with a big family and work life.
